Supporting the Elderly and Adults with brain injuries.
My Story

My name is Lucy and I am 34 years old. I have worked in care since the age of 19.
I started in Care Homes with the elderly and worked in Oxfordshire and Northern Ireland. I then had my daughter who is now 11. I worked in the catering industry and later in Administration before really wanting to go back into care when my daughter was at school full time.
I then, in 2016, found what I love doing now, which is working with Adults with Brain Injuries.
I first started working as an Acquired Brain Injury Support Worker for a company. I wanted to do something that was challenging and engaging with adults to support them with every day living and independence so much so that I then decided to make it into my own business with my own approaches to the way I care and support.
I have a BTEC First Diploma in Care and an NVQ2 in Health and Social Care.
I trained as a Community First Responder, going out into my local community.
I always like to improve my education and skills and always look at what I can do to achieve this.
| have a current DBS check and I have also had the COVID 19 vaccine.
